DYNAMIC INSIGHT COACHING
A holistic six-week program for individuals or groups
After receiving a B.A. in English from American University, Washington, D.C., and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the Instituto Allende, University of Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Scott Seldin's extensive experience as an educator began in New York City at Baruch College, where he taught literature and composition for fifteen years. During this time he was also a consultant for the New York Board of Regents.
In 1996, after he moved from New York to Santa Fe, New Mexico, Scott worked with students as director of Mountain View School, which served the academic needs of patients on the adolescent psychiatric unit of St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe.
1998 to 2009, Scott was Academic Coordinator at the College of Santa Fe, where he counseled hundreds of students academically, and as a coach. He created and supervised a highly successful, holistic student peer mentoring program, helping students generate and sustain motivation, use their time wisely and effectively, minimize distractions, manage stress, and achieve goals, while nurturing their mind, body and spirit.
2009 to present, Scott developed his private practice as a personal development coach, created and presented Dynamic Insight Coaching, and received training as a mediator. He wrote a book, Mentoring Human Potential -- Student Peer Mentors as Catalysts for Academic Success, published by iUniverse in 2011. (See Book link)
